About West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust
West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust provides emergency ambulance services across a population of six million people and more than 5,000 square miles. It responds to around 4,000 emergency calls each day and employs approximately 7,500 staff across the region.
The Trust also provides non-emergency patient transport services in parts of the West Midlands, completing approximately one million patient journeys each year. It operates from 15 fleet preparation hubs and is headquartered at Millennium Point in Brierley Hill.
