Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust delivers 24-hour emergency, urgent and non-emergency care to over five million people across nearly 6,000 square miles of Yorkshire and the Humber. With more than 7,200 staff and 1,300 volunteers, the service responds to over 900,000 incidents annually through 999 emergency ambulance services, patient transport and NHS 111.
Formed in 2006, the Trust operates from 62 ambulance stations, two emergency operations centres and multiple contact centres. Every role, from paramedics and call handlers to fleet engineers and support staff, contributes directly to delivering safe, responsive and patient centred care when people need it most.
