Join Ivetsey Bank Hospital, a Tier 4 Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) service in Staffordshire, providing specialist inpatient care for young people with complex mental health needs. As part of the ACG Mental Health Network and the West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative, we deliver compassionate, recovery-focused care in partnership with young people, families, and professionals.
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist who will be delivering specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention to young people with eating disorders and complex mental health needs
You will work as a key member of our multidisciplinary team, supporting young people and their families while driving service improvement, innovation and professional excellence.

Working pattern:
We are committed to finding the right person for this role and are therefore open to flexible working arrangements. We welcome applications from candidates with the relevant skills and experience and are happy to discuss the number of days and hours worked.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hold a specialist clinical caseload within the Eating Disorders CAMHS unit.
  • Provide comprehensive psychological assessments, formulations, evidence-based interventions and outcomes measures.
  • Work as a core member of the multidisciplinary team contributing to treatment planning and risk management.
  • Deliver individual, family, and group interventions for young people with eating disorders and comorbid presentations.
  • Contribute to safeguarding assessments and risk management planning for complex cases.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional and organisational standards.
  • Participate in clinical outcome measurement and service evaluation.
  • Provide managerial and clinical supervision to Psychology team colleagues as appropriate
  • To ensure the maintenance of professional standards within relevant regulatory bodies such as Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), British Psychological Society (BPS), and ACG Policies.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders as required as part of treatment planning.

What you'll have:
  • HCPC registration
  • BPS registration
  • Previous experience within a CAMHS setting
  • Previous experience within an eating disorder unit
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
