Description
Make Every Day Matter — Join Our Person-Centred Care Team!
Tamworth | Up to £14.50 per hour
Looking for a role where you can make a genuine difference every day?
At Active Assistance, we’re looking for compassionate, reliable Support Workers to join our team, supporting a friendly, independent gentleman with a spinal cord injury in his own home in Tamworth.
This is more than a care role. It’s about getting to know someone as an individual, respecting their choices, and supporting them to live life on their own terms. You’ll play an important part in promoting independence, building trust and helping make everyday moments meaningful.
Why You’ll Love This Role
Every day is unique — whether you’re helping your client enjoy fresh air in the community, joining him on family holidays and adventures (travel and accommodation fully covered!), or simply sharing everyday moments that make life meaningful.
You’ll be supporting someone who is active, positive, and full of life — and you’ll be part of a small, close-knit team that truly values person-centred support and mutual respect.
In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.
