Live-In Support Worker (Male & Female) – Nationwide Opportunities
A Rewarding Role. A Meaningful Connection. A Real Difference.

Are you looking for a role where you can make a lasting impact, build trusted relationships and help someone live life to the fullest?

At Active Assistance, we’re looking for compassionate, dedicated male and female Live-In Support Workers to join our nationwide team, providing personalised, one-to-one support to people with complex care needs in their own homes.

Every person is unique, and so is the support they need. You’ll take the time to understand each client’s routines, preferences and aspirations, helping them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life while doing the things that matter most to them.

What Makes Active Assistance Different?
  • Support you can rely on – our experienced clinical and operational teams are on hand to provide guidance and support.
  • Planned placements – work within dedicated care packages with structured assignments.
  • Training that develops your skills – access paid specialist training to build your confidence and knowledge in complex care.
  • A role with real purpose – build meaningful connections and help make everyday life more fulfilling for the person you support.

If you’re caring, dependable and passionate about providing individualised support, we’d love to hear from you.

Please note: We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK without requiring Skilled Worker or Student visa sponsorship.

What you'll be doing:
Every placement is different. Your role will include moving into the client’s home and supporting them with personal care (including washing, dressing and toileting), moving and handling, domestic tasks and social activities.

No experience is required, as full specialist training is provided.

In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.

When you'll be working:
  • Assignments lasting 1-2 weeks long
  • Regular consistent work with set rolling rotas
  • You must commit to working regularly each month to enable continuity of care for our clients

What you'll have:
  • Kind and caring nature
  • Flexibility & reliability – continuity of care is essential for our clients
  • Good communication skills

What to look forward to:
  • £127.50 per day on a zero hour contract.
  • Regular consistent work with set rolling rotas
  • 14.07% Holiday pay on every hour you work!
  • Refer a Friend Scheme and earn up to £1500 by recommending someone you know
  • Paid specialist training
  • A Nest Personal pension account
  • ……and, of course, the support and guidance of our qualified clinical and business leadership teams so that you can really develop your career with Active Assistance

At Active Care Group, we want everyone to feel welcome and supported. We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and experiences. If you need any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment or interview process, just let us know and we’ll be very happy to discuss this with you.
