Job summaryWe have a vacancy for a Salaried GP to work at our Aire Valley Surgery Practice.
This vacancy is to work 4 sessions (2 days) per week. This will be working over 2 days and covering one half day of oncall each week on average:
This role will primarily be based at the Aire Valley Surgery site in Rawdon and our branch at the Silver Lane Surgery in Yeadon.
Main duties of the jobWe are looking for a highly motivated doctor to join our rapidly expanding medical team.
Our big practice with a small friendly team approach is situated in
purpose build premises in the pleasant residential areas of Rawdon and Yeadon in Leeds.
We are a training practice and participate in a range of enhanced
services. Aire Valley Surgery has a
dedicated large team which consists of GPs including
Registrars, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Physicians Associates, Practice
Pharmacists. We have a very supportive Nursing
Team and our attached staff in house include the Midwifes, First Contact
Practitioners, Care Coordinator and we have one care home in the area called Sunningdale, in Rawdon.
List size of approximately 15,000 at Aire Valley Surgery.
5 Partners Dr Chris Mills, Dr Adrian Rees, Sumana Reddy, Dr
Catrin Lewis and Dr Jon Yardley
SystemOne and operating a total triage software system called Accurx
Clinics are 12 x 15 minute appointments (mix of F2F and calls)
There is no requirement for any extended hours work
Each session includes a fair share of letters, path links and
prescriptions
Salaried rates and job plan will be primarily
based around recommended BMA

We have a well-established multidisciplinary team that includes GPs, nurses, HCAs, pharmacists, physician associates, and experienced administrative staff. The practice uses
SystmOne and
Accurx to deliver efficient, patient-centred care through a
total triage model.
The RoleWe're looking for a committed and enthusiastic
GP to join us for 4 sessions per week, including
one half-day of on-call each week as part of our shared rota.
You'll be supported by a collaborative clinical and administrative team, with opportunities to contribute to teaching, quality improvement, and wider practice development.

Essential Requirements- GMC registration and licence to practise

Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- Primary Medical Qualification (e.g. MBChB, MBBS or equivalent) recognised by the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
- Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice (or equivalent if trained abroad).
- Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List (or eligibility to join before start date).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Evidence of up-to-date revalidation and appraisal (if already practising).
- Enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service).
Desirable- Experience using SystmOne and Accurx.
- Postgraduate qualifications such as MRCGP (Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners).
- Experience in teaching or supervising students/trainees.
- Additional clinical interests or specialist skills (e.g. dermatology, minor surgery, womens' health, mental health).
- Leadership, quality improvement, or research experience.
