As a trusted representative of Allied Pharmacy, you'll help ensure our patients receive the care and continuity they need, right at their doorstep.
Key responsibilities:- Deliver prescriptions and pharmacy items to patients' homes across the Aberystwyth area
- Plan efficient delivery routes to ensure timely service
- Verify patient details and obtain signatures where required, maintaining accurate delivery records
- Handle medicines with care, following all confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
- Provide a courteous, professional and reassuring service to every patient you meet
- Carry out routine vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
- Support the wider pharmacy team with related tasks when needed
What we're looking for:- A full, valid UK driving licence with a clean or near-clean record
- A polite, friendly manner and a genuine commitment to customer care
- Strong sense of responsibility, reliability and punctuality
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently
- Awareness of confidentiality and the importance of handling medicines with care
- Comfortable working with elderly or vulnerable patients
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with the Aberystwyth area (desirable)
