Colleague Experience Manager - Professional & Technical Skills
Do you have a passion for developing professional standards, designing compliance training programmes that meet regulatory requirements, building technical capability, and helping colleagues gain the skills, qualifications and expertise they need to thrive?

We're looking for a Colleague Experience Manager - Professional & Technical Skills to lead professional development, qualifications, apprenticeships and skills initiatives that help colleagues thrive and support future organisational capability. Reporting to the Senior Strategic People Partner - Colleague Experience, you'll work closely with colleagues across Resourcing, Capability & Performance, and Reward, while leading a team to deliver an exceptional colleague experience.

About the Role
You'll lead the design and continuous improvement of technical learning and professional skills solutions that support colleague development, and workforce planning. Working with stakeholders across the organisation and external partners, you'll ensure colleagues have access to high-quality technical frameworks, career pathways and qualifications that enable them to succeed today and in the future.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead the development and implementation of interventions, including qualifications and apprenticeships, to enhance colleague skills, knowledge, and competence that contribute to their technical ability and CPD
  • Lead the design and delivery of digital, systems and self-directed learning solutions, creating accessible learning experiences that support just-in-time development and colleague capability growth.
  • Partner with leaders across the organisation to identify skills gaps, shape development priorities and influence workforce capability strategies.
  • Use data and insight to evaluate impact, identify trends and continuously improve colleague development and learning experiences.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, training providers and external partners to deliver high-quality, value-driven outcomes.
  • Coach and develop team members while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and inclusion

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a collaborative and forward-thinking professional with experience in organisational development, learning, talent or HR.

Essential Experience & Skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and emotional intelligence.
  • Experience in organisational development, employee engagement and colleague experience.
  • Knowledge of skills and capability frameworks.
  • Experience using data and insights to inform decision-making.
  • Understanding of the employee lifecycle and career development.
  • Experience managing projects and delivering change initiatives.
  • Ability to think strategically while delivering practical solutions.
  • Knowledge of assessment methodologies and psychometric tools.
  • Understanding of resourcing, candidate experience and employer brand principles.

Qualifications
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification, or equivalent experience in HR, Learning & Development, Organisational Development or Talent Management.
  • Coaching qualification at Level 5 or equivalent.
