Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and compassionate Band 6 Gynaecology Junior Sister to join our dynamic team at Barts Health. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse who is passionate about delivering high quality, patient centred care within a busy and diverse outpatient gynaecology service.
This post contracted hours 30hrs a week, which may include long days of a 12 hrs shifts or a 7.30hrs shift depending on service needs.
Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the experience of women accessing our emergency gynaecology/early pregnancy and outpatient procedure clinics. This individual will provide expert clinical care, guide junior colleagues and students, and help us to continually improve what we do. This band 6 junior sister will need to have a passion for women's health, work well within a team and will show skill and potential in leadership.

Qualifications
- NMC Registered Nurse 3 years post registration experience including a minimum of 2 year's recent experience within gynecology specialty.
- Mentorship in Practice course or equivalent

- Post registration Gynaecology course.
Experience
- Relevant experience in gynaecology nursing is essential.
- Experience in mentoring and supporting Junior staff.
