To help shape this next chapter, we are seeking an exceptional Advanced Surgical Care Practitioner (ASCP) to take a leading role in driving our robotic service forward.
Main Duties of the JobTo provide expert assistance and support in robotic surgery to the Consultant Surgeons, SPRs, theatre staff and patients involved in robotic surgery. To provide a nurse specialist / Surgical First Assistant qualified nurse/ Surgical First Assistant (SFA) role.

- Registered nurse or trained surgical care practitioner.
- Master's degree in Surgical Care Practice or at least 24 months experience as a surgical care practitioner with basic surgical skills course.
- Teaching and mentoring qualification
- Evidence of professional continuous development and portfolio of learning
- Management training and leadership development
- Recognised as an expert in the field of practice with the ability to clinically assess, diagnose and treat
- Knowledge and experience of managing and leading a team.

- Undertaken undergraduate / postgraduate study in research methodology

- Significant clinical experience of surgical pathways as a nurse within a theatre role
