Job summaryA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, experienced and capable Chartered Physiotherapist with a flexible approach to undertake the role of Physiotherapist Specialist practitioner working in Primary Care. The vacant post is within Denbighshire cluster areas.
The post holder will be expected to work as an autonomous clinical specialist practitioner, with an extended scope of physiotherapy practice to be first contact physiotherapist working within primary care.
Support and appropriate training will be available to the successful candidate. The post holder will work closely with GP's, ANP's and other clinical staff within the GP surgeries along with the CMATS's staff within the Central IHC of Betsi Cadwaladr University health Board.
The physiotherapy service in BCUHB offers a whole career pathway to Band 8A as a clinical advanced practitioner. Service improvement and development is encouraged and all staff have access to regular supervision and training.

Main duties of the job- Provide First Contact Physiotherapy Assessments and treatment of MSK patients.
- Onward referral of patients to appropriate services and for appropriate investigations.
- Develop opportunities for practice which extends the scope of traditional physiotherapy
- Training and support of physiotherapists and support staff to deliver high quality, evidence based service provision
- The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
