We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and ambitious Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic clinical team at the Pharmacy, Ysbyty Glan Clwyd, Bodelwyddan.
The postholder will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They must be keen to learn and develop themselves and will be provided with opportunities to improve their skills and knowledge.
We are looking for a compassionate leader to support staff to develop individually, in line with departmental goals. As part of the senior pharmacy management team, you will have line management responsibilities and assist with supply workflow, meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate will play a vital role in shaping the supply pharmacy service through involvement with policy making, working with the multidisciplinary team and by developing the dispensary pharmacy workforce. They will be responsible for the co-ordination of dispensary-based pharmacy technicians and assistants to ensure we provide a safe and effective patient-centred pharmacy service.
The post holder will play an essential role in continuing to implement improvements and efficiencies following the recent implementation of Electronic Prescribing Medicines and Administration (ePMA) system in BCUHB Central in 2026. Person SpecificationExperienceEssential- A substantial level of post qualification experience in pharmacy services.
- Experience of managing pharmacy team(s)

Qualifications and/or KnowledgeEssential- Registered pharmacy technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- NVQ level 3 Diploma in Pharmacy Services Skills or equivalent.
