Job Summary
An exciting role for an experienced and passionate nurse to join Youth First - West Midlands Community FCAMHS. The service is commissioned to provide advice, guidance and consultation around complex risk presentations for West Midlands children and adolescents up until the age of 18 years.

The successful candidate will lead on the services internal LDA (Learning Disability/Autism) Pathway, developing it further; alongside holding a defined caseload within the wider service. The role will be job planned to ensure both aspects of the role are prioritised.

Main duties of the job
  • Providing advice, guidance and consultation to professionals across the West Midlands for young people presenting with risky/forensic profiles where there is a diagnosis or suspicion of mental health or neurodiversity.
  • Partaking in the duty rota to be point of contact for enquiries and referrals from professionals.
  • Developing and leading on the LDA Pathway within the service.
  • Working as part of a team and under own volition.
  • Supporting service development strategies.
  • Providing management cover as required.
