Job summary
An opportunity has arisen in the NHS@Home team, based Bristol Foundation Trust. With growing evidence that supports the benefits of a care closer to home approach for our patients, there has never been a better time to be part of the expanding NHS@Home service.
We are looking for B5 nurses to join our small but friendly multidisciplinary team of nurses, pharmacists, AHP and consultants. The NHS@Home service provides a 7-day service, currently 0800-1830 (no nights) but we can offer flexible working arrangements.
You can be based at the BRI or WGH for mileage purposes, but your work will involve driving daily to our patients' homes to provide care for them across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
NHS@Home acts as an extension to our hospitals, enabling patients to go home to continue their hospital treatments in the comfort of their own homes. The B5 role in our team will allow you to continue to utilise and develop your acute clinical and leadership skills whilst applying them to the care of patients in their home setting.
For this post you must hold a full UK NMC registration and will be expected to hold a valid UK driving license and have a car to use daily with a valid insurance certificate covering business use as you will be required to use your own vehicle for daily community visits. Your travel expenses will be reimbursed as per Trust guidelines.

About us
Bristol NHS Foundation Trust brings together more than 28,000 staff to deliver over 160 clinical services across thirteen hospital locations, operating from three main sites at Southmead, Bristol city centre and Weston.

As an equal opportunities employer actively working towards a diverse workforce we aim to recruit and retain a workforce which represents the rich diversity of the local population at all levels and are committed to designing our services around the needs of individual patients and those around them.
