Proposed interview week commencing 16th November 2026

Main duties of the job
The Rotational Occupational Therapist will work autonomously, providing high quality, evidence based Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions for Bromley Healthcare patients, including those referred with complex multiple pathologies, social and care needs. The role provides breadth of experience across Bromley Healthcare's North and South Community Health Locality Teams (CHLTs) and Borough Wide Services. The post requires flexibility to respond to changing patient, team and service priorities.

As a vital element of our community healthcare provision, the Rotational Occupational Therapist will work with patients in their own homes or care settings, inpatient bed-based rehabilitation and possibly virtually, as the service continues to develop. The postholder may deliver both individual and group interventions. Rotations will occur every six months although this may vary according to service needs and individual development requirements. Additional rotations may be introduced, as the role and service develops.

The Rotational Occupational Therapist will contribute to audit and evaluation, as well as using their knowledge, research and CPD to contribute to ongoing service development. In addition, the postholder will be a valuable source of advice, guidance and education for patients, students, colleagues and other stakeholders
