Clinical Deputy Manager
Deanwood Care Home, Warren Rd, Brighton and Hove, Brighton BN2 6DA.

Salary Up to £55,702 per annum - Depending on experience.
Permanent - 40 hours per week.
Monday to Friday.
Occasional night visits or weekend work may be required.

You’ll help us make health happen by:

• Oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care/activities within the home
• Create and update individual care plans for our residents, maintaining clear, accurate and up-to-date medication records
• Maintain correct staffing levels through efficient management of rotas
• Provide day to day support and guidance to the team - promoting residents' independence, choice and dignity
• Build lasting relationships with residents and their families, fostering a sense of community
• Create and develop strong relationships with local partners, raising the care home’s profile

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and commitment to NMC Codes of Conduct
• Understanding of the benefits of the right nursing care, championing independence, choice and dignity
• Up-to-date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control and care planning
• Effective communicator who builds strong relationships
• Natural leader ready to share clinical experience, lead and mentor a team
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
• Respectful and compassionate team player
