Bush & Company Rehabilitation is seeking a highly experienced Neuro Physiotherapist to join our team as an Expert Witness in London. This is a part-time, self-employed associate role, ideal for a clinician with extensive neurological rehabilitation experience who wishes to apply their expertise in a medico-legal context.

Role Overview
As an Expert Witness, you will provide independent, objective assessments of individuals who have sustained neurological injuries, and produce detailed, court-ready reports that inform legal proceedings. Your clinical expertise will be central to evaluating the impact of injuries on daily living, and you will be expected to deliver opinions that withstand rigorous scrutiny.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive neuro-physiotherapy assessments of claimants with complex neurological conditions.
• Analyse medical records, imaging, and other evidence to form a robust clinical opinion.
• Prepare detailed, well-structured expert witness reports in accordance with court rules and professional standards.
• Attend court hearings or case conferences as required to provide expert testimony.
• Collaborate with legal teams, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a thorough understanding of each case.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of neurological rehabilitation practices and medico-legal guidelines.

Requirements

• Registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Extensive post-registration experience in neurological physiotherapy, with a strong track record of clinical excellence.
• Proven experience in medico-legal work, including report writing and giving evidence in court.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
• Commitment to continuing professional development and adherence to professional codes of conduct.
