Job summaryThis is an exciting opportunity for Locum GPs to join our Out of Hours service on a flexible working pattern.
Shifts will be available in our Out of Hours Service Hubs (based at Brondesbury Medical Centre, NW6 and Regents Park Practice, NW1 ) in the evening (18:30-20:00), Weekends and Bank holidays (08:00-20:00).We are particularly looking for GPs who can can commit to face to face sessions at Brondesbury Medical Centre during the week and priority will be given to those applications.Please note, if you applied to the previous advert, there is no need to apply again.Main duties of the jobCamden Health Partners (CHP) provides Out of Hours Service to routine general practice outside core hours. Services are delivered via hub practices across the borough, offering both remote (telephone/video) and face-to-face consultations.
The post holder will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals registered with Camden GP practices, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Job responsibilitiesSummary of Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Practice- Deliver a range of GP consultations including telephone, remote, and face-to-face appointments
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with undifferentiated and complex conditions
- Develop and implement holistic, evidence-based treatment and management plans
- Manage acute and chronic conditions using pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches
- Identify patients at risk of developing long-term conditions and initiate preventative care
- Provide clinical support and guidance to other team members

- Phlebotomy skills
- Ability to interpret basic blood tests
- Evidence of computer literacy and keyboard skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to listen carefully in order to understand the needs of others
- Ongoing commitment to personal development
- Flexible approach to working pattern across services and professional boundaries
- Ability to represent the organisation with internal and external stakeholders
- Able to work within a team and take instruction as required
- Able to quickly establish rapport and credibility with others in the team
- Able to use own initiative
- Able to maintain confidentiality at all times with regards to staff and patients
ExperienceEssential- Experience of working in general practice minimum of 6 months Post GP CCT
QualificationsEssential- Full registration with General Medical Council (GMC)
- Inclusion on Englands National Performers List (with NHS England)
- Up to date BLS Training
- JCTGP Vocational Training Certificate/MRCGP
- Experience of working in general practice minimum of 6 months Post GP CCT
