Supervising Social Worker

Role Description
If you’ve got excellent interpersonal communication skills and can build positive relationships with foster parents and children’s social workers, we can offer you a rewarding career with the Fostering Support Group. (FSG)

Our Supervising Social Worker’s build positive relationships between FSG, the foster parent and the child’s social worker. It is a key role that helps the foster parent to sustain the child in placement and ensure outcomes for children are being met within the foster family.

You will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders, to enable foster parents to be informed, accept, understand and operate within the regulations and national minimum standards and in accordance with Caretech Group policies and guidance.

Working full time, you will be home based with occasional meetings in the FSG Regional Office in Shortlands. Most caseloads are based in the Kent/ South London region,

Essential

• Social Worker with experience of OFSTED regulations
• Multidisciplinary and multi-agency working experience
• Be a strong team player, with excellent communication skills.
• Have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
• Participation on an out of hours rota (every 4 weeks)
