Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Gynaecology - Menstrual Disorders)

The Vacancy

At CHEC, we're proud to be expanding our NHS services with the launch of a new Community Gynaecology Service. We're looking for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner with a special interest in menstrual disorders to support the service on a Bank contract basis.

About the Role

As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you'll work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, assessing, diagnosing and managing a wide range of menstrual disorders including heavy menstrual bleeding, abnormal uterine bleeding, dysmenorrhoea, endometriosis, fibroid-associated symptoms and PCOS.

You'll use your advanced clinical skills to:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
• Request and interpret investigations
• Independently prescribe treatments
• Develop personalised management plans
• Lead follow-up pathways and discharge planning
• Support integrated community gynaecology services

What We're Looking For

You'll be a registered nurse with:

• Current NMC registration
• MSc Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent)
• Independent Prescribing Qualification (V300)
• Significant experience in women's health or gynaecology
• Advanced assessment and diagnostic skills
• A passion for delivering outstanding patient-centred care
