Main duties of the jobKey Responsibilities- Acute Care: Deliver face-to-face and remote clinical assessments for same-day urgent presentations.
- Prescribing: Issue prescriptions and manage acute care plans as an Independent Prescriber (V300).
- Triage & Referrals: Prioritize urgent cases and coordinate onward referrals to secondary or community care services.
- System Practice: Maintain real-time clinical notes on primary care systems (SystmOne)
- Professional Standards: Adhere to national clinical guidelines, local NHS safeguarding protocols, and your professional bodys code of conduct.

Requirements- Active NMC or HCPC registration.
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (or verified 4 Pillars portfolio).
- Active Independent Prescriber (V300) status.
- Proven experience in primary care, GP surgeries, or urgent access hubs.

Person SpecificationExperienceEssential- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience managing acute illness and minor injuries face-to-face in Primary Care, GP Surgeries, or Urgent Access Hubs.
QualificationsEssential- Active NMC (Registered Nurse) or HCPC registration.
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (or verified 4 Pillars of Advanced Practice portfolio).
- Active Independent Prescriber (V300) qualification.
- Formal qualification or certified training in Minor Injuries and Illness
