We have an exciting opportunity for a Hi Intensity CBT practitioner who is skilled in providing effective, evidence-based interventions to individuals experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression. This person would be joining the Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Talking Therapies service. The service is delivered by Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust, in collaboration with Coventry and Warwickshire MIND, and offers a variety of support and psychological therapies to the Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull adult population. Our interventions are diverse and evidence based, ranging from guided self-help and face-to-face or video therapy, telephone support to workshops and courses. We have exciting opportunities within our expanding Perinatal and Long Term Conditions pathways and ongoing training and development opportunities as our service continues to grow.

Main duties of the job
The work that we produce on behalf of Talking Therapies continue to receive positive feedback:

"I wanted to send a direct thanks for making me feel heard, comfortable and validated, even at times when my thoughts and explanations were all over the place."

"Thank you for your time, kindness and support during and after the assessment. You have helped me so much when I was at my very lowest."

By appointing individuals whose values align with ours, the goal is to carry on providing an outstanding service, while erasing the stigma of mental health - not only in Coventry and Warwickshire - but around the world.

We are looking for a practitioner who is skilled in providing effective, evidence-based interventions to individuals experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression. We would particularly welcome interest from therapists who can demonstrate previous experience of working within diverse populations in a primary care setting.

About us
Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT) provides a full range of expanding physical, mental health and learning disability services to children, young adults, adults and older adults over many sites across Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull.

We operate out of approximately 50 sites and provide inpatient, community and day clinics, as well as specialist services, to a population of about 1 million. On average, we see around 5,000 patients every day. Our services received an overall rating of 'Good' by the CQC.

We know that we can only achieve a high-quality clinical service by maximising the efforts of our team and by creating an environment where colleagues are valued and involved in developing the service. We believe in investing in people, keeping true to the CWPT values and behaviours and looking after the wellbeing of all team members. We work closely with other services and service user groups to refine and improve the service that we offer through monthly meetings.

We were one of only seven mental health trusts that were named by NHS England and formed a part of the Global Digital Exemplar programme, allowing us to transform patient care through new technologies.

We put 'people at our heart'; this ethos is at the centre of everything we do and how we do it. We care for our staff and colleagues as much as they care for others and offer a wide range of benefits and development opportunities.

Job responsibilities
The posts will be suitable for qualified NHS Talking Therapies High Intensity Practitioners, or Qualified CBT Therapists. BABCP accreditation or eligibility for accreditation is desirable but membership is essential for positions. Enthusiasm, confidence and the ability to work flexibly and without close direction are essential. In return, you will have the opportunity of being in the forefront of primary care mental health service delivery. In addition to the satisfaction of working in a progressive, dynamic service there will be excellent development opportunities.

Please note these are essential car user posts.
