Job summary
We are recruiting a clinical lead / Nonmedical prescriber to work within the beautiful rural location North Northumberland Community Team Treatment Team. We are a friendly, cohesive, and welcoming team. This is a wonderful opportunity as it will be a split role with a strong clinical focus.

You will be working within an established multidisciplinary clinical team and be a crucial member /part of the leadership team, alongside the Team Manager, Clinical lead, Consultant, Nurse Consultant and Psychology.

The successful candidate will need to have a relevant registered qualification, need to be flexible in your approach and able to respond to the needs of the service. This role will enable a clinician to work clinically, utilising and applying their prescribing whilst supporting provide senior leadership cover within the service

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will hold expert clinical skills, non medical prescribing qualification and experience in relation to supporting service users with complex mental health needs.

The post holder will work within the Leadership Team to develop the service, whilst also working effectively alongside colleagues across CNTW and external partnerships. The post holder will not only support in the development and training of new and existing staff but work alongside the management team to ensure cohesive leadership structures are in place, to further embed high clinical standards and delivery of care within the CTT.

The successful candidate will lead on ensuring safe and responsive care is maintained and reviewed in a collective way through team meetings, supervision & supporting patient safety & incident framework, including completing & supporting early learning reviews, after action reviews and supporting staff with debriefs following any complex / serious incidents.

You will also contribute to the development of the Community Treatment Team in line with the transformation of community services, to deliver care in innovative and flexible ways in order to meet the needs of patients

Person Specification
Education and Qualification
Essential

• Registered Mental Health Nurse/ Registered Learning Disability Nurse (as appropriate) or equivalent relevant professional qualification
• Mentorship Qualification
• Non Medical Prescriber
• Relevant Clinical Training and post graduate Qualification relevant to the pathway

Desirable

• Formal clinical supervision qualification
• Teaching Qualification.
• Therapy Qualification (i.e. CBT/PSI/Family Therapy).

Knowledge and Experience
Essential

• Proven track record of providing professional leadership within clinical services.
• Knowledge & Experience of the Recovery Model.
• MDT working.
• Clinical supervision and Application. Adherence to Health and Safety policies.
• Casework Management.
• Facilitation of Personal Development Planning in others.
• Experience of CBU based Model of Care Provision.
• Experience of working within a multi- disciplinary team using the CBU based approach.
• Care Packages and Pathways Clustering
• Experience of Positive Clinical Risk Taking and Risk/Safety Planning.
• WRAP and or Recovery Models. Evidence of Clinical Practice to an Advanced Practitioner level.
