Job summaryTo work as a Bank Senior Radiographer providing care for patients attending the general Radiology Department, CT and specialist areas as identified in your role.
You will normally work without direct clinical supervision but will report to the Senior/Superintendent Radiographers within the Department.
You will participate in the provision of an on-call emergency radiographic service for the Health Board.

Main duties of the jobCwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board Radiology services are provided on three main sites, Princess of Wales, Royal Glamorgan and Prince Charles Hospitals.
The departments support a number of sub-regional specialties. The departments have multislice CT, MRI, Cardiac Catheter Lab and Gamma Camera. Busy A&E Units are supported by modular PACS.
We are looking for a Band 6 Radiographer to join the team supporting imaging services across the Health Board specialising in general radiography.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate strong communication skills with an ability to work effectively within the multi-disciplinary team.
Successful Candidates will support out of hours' services within the general department.

Person SpecificationEducation/Qualifications / TrainingEssential- BSc In Radiography or equivalent
- HCPC Registration
- Appropriate Post-qualification training & experience
ExperienceEssential- Relevant personal history of continuing professional development.
- Appropriate post-qualification experience.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
SkillsEssential- Good communication skills - ability to liaise competently with stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds.
- Previous history of training staff in particular specialty
KnowledgeEssential- Evidence of participation in clinical audit
- Working knowledge of CT service and procedures.
