Job summary
Are you a Registered Nurse with a current UK registration who is looking for extra shifts to boost income or undertake a flexible job that fits around your family and lifestyle? If so, then we would love to hear from you about becoming part of the Staff Bank Nursing Team at CTM. We have opportunities at band 5 and band 6 level.

Weekdays, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available, which are easy to view and can be booked through an app. In just a few easy steps you will have nursing shifts within a clinical area at our University Health Board, including Acute Medical and Surgical Wards, Emergency Departments, ITU, Community Hospitals.

Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, we would love to hear from you and be part of our Bank Nurse Team with an hourly rate that includes, enhancements on unsocial hours, as below and a 12.07% uplift to cover leave.

Main duties of the job
You will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding clinical care to our patients using your knowledge, skills and experience to enhance our standards of care. You will undertake a range of assigned tasks involving direct and indirect care patient care and will be responsible for complying with all policies and procedures, and meet CTM standards, as well as ensuring compliance NMC Standards and Codes of Conduct.

There is no minimum number of hours, although it is recommended to work as often as you can to ensure your knowledge, skills and familiarity with our services is retained.

This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. Whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn't 'fluency', just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means being able to communicate in Welsh during routine clinical situations, such as welcoming patients, discussing straightforward aspects of their care and answering routine questions. If you're comfortable holding everyday conversations in Welsh, we encourage you to apply. Your Welsh language skills will help us provide person-centred care and enable patients to receive services in their language of choice.
