Clinic Manager – Oakmead Dental Care | East Grinstead

£40,000 | Full-Time | 40 Hours Per Week | Monday–Friday | Occasional Saturday Cover

Oakmead Dental Care is looking for an experienced and confident Clinic Manager to join our established three-surgery practice in East Grinstead. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a dental background and previous management experience who enjoys leading people, improving performance and supporting business growth. We would also welcome applications from an experienced Lead Dental Nurse looking to take the next step into practice management, with the leadership skills and commercial awareness required for the role.

About the Role

As Clinic Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day operational and commercial management of the practice, working closely with clinicians and the wider team. You'll be a visible and approachable leader, supporting colleague development, maintaining high standards and creating a positive working environment. A key part of the role will be identifying opportunities to improve performance, introduce new ways of working and support the practice's growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the practice team
• Build strong relationships with clinicians and colleagues
• Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve performance
• Support patient growth, diary utilisation and commercial performance
• Ensure high standards of compliance, CQC, health and safety and patient care
• Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
• Manage patient feedback and complaints effectively
• Identify and implement improvements across the practice
• Work with the wider Envisage Dental team to support business development

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in dental practice management
• From a dental background, with a good understanding of the clinical environment
• A confident and engaging leader
• Commercially aware with strong business acumen
• Proactive and comfortable taking ownership
• Experienced in developing and engaging teams
• Organised, resilient and able to manage competing priorities
• Focused on delivering an excellent patient and colleague experience

We're also happy to consider a strong Lead Dental Nurse ready to step into a Clinic Manager role, with suitable leadership and operational experience.
