Job summary
Are you passionate about supporting children and families to live healthier, happier lives? Do you enjoy working closely with parents, GPs, and other healthcare professionals to make a real difference in your community? If so, we'd love to hear from you!

At Sutton Health and Care, we're on a mission to deliver seamless, high-quality care right at the heart of the community. We're looking for a dedicated Children's Community Dietitian to join our friendly team at Green Wrythe Clinic.

What makes this role special
  • You'll be part of a small, supportive team of 3 dietitians.
  • You'll work closely with our Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Physiotherapists - all based in the same building, so collaboration really is part of daily life.
  • All your clinics are run from Green Wrythe Clinic (no endless travelling around Sutton).
  • Free on-site parking and just a short walk from St Helier Hospital.
  • You'll have the option of flexible hours (8 to 4, 9 to 5 or something that works for you and the service).
  • Training opportunities at Epsom and St Helier, so you can keep your skills sharp.

Main duties of the job
A typical week might include...
  • Providing dietetic assessment, advice and monitoring for infants with suspected cow's milk allergy and general paediatrics.
  • Supporting GPs and community teams with expert dietetic advice and ensuring cost-effective prescribing of hypoallergenic milk formulae and supplements.
  • Guiding and supporting families, carers and healthcare professionals across both community and acute settings.
  • Running GP audits and delivering training to GPs, pharmacists, health visitors and other healthcare professionals.

About us
Why join us?
This role gives you the autonomy to manage your own caseload, backed up by the support of a close-knit team. You'll be part of an integrated care model that really does put patients at the centre. We'll support you with:
  • Ongoing training and CPD opportunities (including ARFID).
  • A collaborative, friendly MDT environment.
  • NHS benefits, discounts and wellbeing support.

About you
We're looking for someone who:
  • Is HCPC-registered with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Has experience in paediatric nutrition (bonus points if you've worked with infants and families in a community setting).
  • Brings excellent communication skills and a person-centred approach.
  • Is confident working independently but enjoys being part of a team.

If you're excited about using your dietetic skills to improve the lives of children and families, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today - or if you'd like to find out more, meet the team, or arrange an informal visit, please get in touch.
