Female Paediatric Nurse
Location: Portsmouth

Salary: £33 per hour

Shifts: 2 Night Shifts Per Week | Monday & Friday | 19:00 - 08:00

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Female Paediatric Nurse to provide dedicated 1:1 care and clinical support for a 9-year-old child with complex healthcare needs within their home environment in Portsmouth.

This is an excellent opportunity to build meaningful relationships with the child and family while delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you must have experience working with children who have complex healthcare needs and be confident managing a range of clinical interventions.

Essential Clinical Skills

• 1:1 Moving & Handling
• Nebuliser Therapy
• Oxygen Therapy
• Chest Physiotherapy
• Seizure Management
• Medication Administration & Management
• PEG / PEJ Management
• Oral Suctioning
• Ventilation Management
• Ability to interpret and respond to non-verbal cues

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (NMC Registered)
• Previous complex paediatric care experience
• Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills
• Compassionate, patient-centred approach
• Comfortable working in a home environment with dogs
• Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle, as driving is essential for this role
