Mental Health Practitioner – ADHD & Autism Services
Remote / Field Based

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Mental Health Practitioner to join our specialist ADHD and Autism Service.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a multidisciplinary neurodevelopmental team, providing high-quality, evidence-based assessment and care to individuals undergoing ADHD and/or autism assessments.

The Role
As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will work collaboratively with psychologists, psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, effective and person-centred care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting ADHD assessments and clinical reviews within your scope of practice and training
• Contributing to autism assessment pathways, including clinical interviews, developmental history gathering and formulation, where appropriate
• Producing clear, accurate and comprehensive clinical reports, treatment plans and review documentation
• Working closely with psychologists, psychiatrists and other members of the multidisciplinary team
• Supporting the transition to shared care, providing appropriate clinical information to GP practices
• Maintaining consistently high standards of clinical decision-making and patient care
• Participating in clinical supervision, reflective practice, audit and service development
• Maintaining an up-to-date CPD portfolio, with relevant evidence of professional development in ADHD and autism assessment and care
• Working in accordance with relevant professional, regulatory and clinical governance standards

About You
We are looking for a practitioner who:

• Holds current NMC registration
• Practises in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Standards
• Has relevant experience or training in ADHD and/or autism assessment and care
• Demonstrates excellent clinical assessment and report-writing skills
• Is confident working independently whilst contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team
• Is committed to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care
• Is dedicated to ongoing professional development, supervision and reflective practice
