Job summaryTo provide specified respiratory investigations to clients/patients and administrative/QC support to the respiratory department in line with company quality procedures.
This clinic is a community-based hub so the individual will be working independently and remotely to our main site. Full remote support will be available.
Main duties of the jobThe role requires good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the post holder being computer literate and having knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel. There is a need for a high standard of literacy and numeracy within the role, and the post holder will hold and maintain the
ARTP Full Certificate in Performing & Reporting Adult Spirometry.
Due to the nature of the work, and in the interests of patient care, there is a need for absolute accuracy and patient confidentiality at all times as well as adherence to the Company's rigorous quality procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). In turn this requires the post holder to be committed, conscientious and motivated and able to work effectively as a member of a team in a pressured environment.
Enhanced Adult Barred DBS will be undertaken prior to employment start.

Job responsibilities- Perform Spirometry, Bronchodilator Reversibility testing + FeNO testing
- Working to the Company's Standard Operating Procedures at all times.
- Patient management and preparation for procedures
- Ensuring a high standard of patient/client care including the cleanliness and stocking of clinical areas
- To train in Basic Life Support
- Administrative & QC procedures
- Maintain and update professional knowledge including new procedures and techniques
- Maintain full compliance with mandatory training requirements and clinical governance policies, including infection control, safeguarding, resuscitation and information governance.
Enhanced DBS will be required for the successful candidate
All clinical employees are required to register with the appropriate professional body for their profession and are required to comply with this professional bodys code of conduct and guidelines at all times.
