We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Optometrist to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional services to patients attending our ophthalmology department.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment, where you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of specialist eye care, working alongside experienced ophthalmologists, nurses, and allied health professionals. The successful candidate will contribute to a range of clinics, helping to ensure timely and effective treatment pathways for our patients.
Main duties of the jobThis post offers extensive involvement within the medical retina service, for which training will be offered if required.
You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team in the Eye Treatment Centre and the Macular Mobile Unit working primarily alongside the Lead Consultant Ophthalmologist, Consultant Orthoptist and reporting to the Eye Treatment Centre Matron.
This post will require you to travel between sites where Macular Mobile Unit is allocated.
The post is open to candidates looking for part time and able to work on Tuesday for 7.5 hours per week.
