At GenesisCare, were redefining cancer care through innovation, collaboration and patient-centred treatment. We are now recruiting for a Senior Dosimetrist to join the founding Physics team at our brand-new Leeds centre.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced dosimetrist looking to further develop their expertise within advanced radiotherapy planning. The successful candidate will support treatment planning across both MR-guided and CT-based adaptive radiotherapy platforms, with full structured training provided.

Main duties of the job
You do not need previous MR Linac or adaptive radiotherapy experience to apply we are looking for a strong Senior Dosimetrist with excellent planning experience and a willingness to learn advanced technologies and workflows.

As part of the Leeds Physics team, you will contribute to the delivery of complex radiotherapy treatment planning services across a range of advanced treatment platforms, including MR Linac and CT adaptive workflows.

You will act as a senior clinical resource within the dosimetry team, supporting high-quality patient care, adaptive radiotherapy pathways and ongoing service development.

What Youll Be Doing

• Delivering complex radiotherapy treatment planning across multiple treatment platforms.
• Supporting adaptive radiotherapy workflows and complex treatment cases.
• Working closely with Clinical Oncologists, Radiographers and Physics colleagues.
• Acting as a senior point of support within the dosimetry team.
• Contributing to quality assurance, training and service improvement initiatives.
• Supporting the development of advanced planning capabilities within the new Leeds centre

Job responsibilities
Training & Development
All successful candidates will complete a structured advanced platform training programme designed to support development across MR-guided and CT adaptive radiotherapy technologies.

This training programme will include:

• Structured onboarding and competency development.
• Training on RayStation treatment planning systems.
• Exposure to Elekta Unity MR Linac workflows.
• Training in Elekta EVO CT adaptive workflows.
• Supervised development in contouring, adaptive planning and plan review.

During the onboarding period, there will be a requirement for regular national travel and occasional overnight stays to support training placements at other GenesisCare centres. These placements will be planned in advance and are typically block-based throughout the first six months.

What Were Looking For

• HCPC registration.
• Degree in Radiography, Dosimetry, Clinical Technology or a related discipline.
• Strong experience within complex radiotherapy treatment planning.
• A collaborative and proactive approach to team working.
• Interest in developing specialist skills within adaptive radiotherapy technologies.

Previous experience with MR-guided or adaptive radiotherapy workflows would be advantageous, but is not essential.
