About the role

You will be working as part of a clinic team delivering a best in class preventative health service. You will be interpreting the results of a comprehensive preventative health assessment and suggesting a personalised treatment plan for each patient. You are the appointment members remember because you deliver an unrushed, data rich consultation, with clear personalised insights into each patient's health and how they can improve to gain more years of healthy life. You deliver a premium, 5-star experience by explaining, in plain English, what it all means for them and agree on a treatment plan which is appropriate with a view to it starting that day in the clinic. You articulate the clinical value in a preventative health approach and encourage ongoing monitoring and clinical follow up of health metrics relevant to each individual patient. The patient walks away engaged i their health and looking forward to their next visit.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver back-to-back consultations to a consistently excellent standard.
• Interpret the full preventative health assessment.
• Prescribe and initiate treatment where clinically appropriate, within company formularies.
• Design personalised plans for lifestyle and risk factor modification grounded in current evidence.
• Liaise with members' registered GPs to support continuity of care, with appropriate consent and information governance.
• Safety-net properly: refer on where findings need secondary care, and document accordingly.
• Work alongside nursing, healthcare assistant, and operations colleagues to deliver a coherent end to end experience.
• Invite every member to a follow up appointment as a natural close to the consultation.
• Contribute to clinical governance: audits, quality improvement, incident review, safeguarding and protocol development.
• Maintain your own continuing professional development, appraisal, and revalidation.

Requirements

Essential

• GMC registration, with at least 1 year post General Practice CCT experience.
• Strong clinical knowledge in cardiovascular disease and metabolic disease risk reduction.
• Outstanding communicator: able to make ApoB make sense to a member in 30 seconds.
• A natural explainer who wants time with patients, not a conveyor belt.

Desirable

• Experience in preventative health, longevity, private screening or health optimisation.
• Interest in metabolic health, and men's and women's hormonal health.
• Experience working alongside digital health platforms and AI-assisted documentation.
