Job summaryWe are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking, compassionate GP to join our practice to support with expanding patient numbers and retirement, who is looking for a 5-6 session position (to include Monday, Tuesday and Friday)
Main duties of the jobThe post holder will provide high-quality, patient-centred general medical services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of a wide range of conditions. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contribute to clinical decision-making, and support continuity of care for patients. The role includes participation in practice meetings, service development, and quality improvement, as well as maintaining accurate clinical records and adhering to professional and regulatory standards.

- 5 GP Partners
- 7 Salaried GPs
- 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs)
- 5 Practice Nurses
- 1 Healthcare Assistant (HCA)
- ARRS roles including Clinical Pharmacist and Mental Health Practitioner
- Dedicated Frailty Team and Community Matron

Job responsibilitiesAs a Salaried GP, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred primary care to our registered population, working collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering face-to-face, telephone consultations.
- Assessing, diagnosing and managing acute and long-term conditions.
- Prescribing safely in line with local and national guidance.
- Managing referrals, results, prescriptions and clinical correspondence.
- Participating in the duty doctor/triage rota as required.
- Maintaining accurate and contemporaneous clinical records using EMIS Web.
- Working collaboratively with the wider practice and PCN teams to deliver high-quality care.
- Contributing to clinical governance, audit, quality improvement and significant event reviews.
Person SpecificationWork statusEssential- Eligible to work in the UK.
QualificationsEssential- MBBS, MBChB or equivalent primary medical qualification.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a licence to practise.
- Included on the NHS England Medical Performers List (or eligible for inclusion).
- MRCGP (or equivalent qualification).
