Job summaryThe primary role of the C2H Team Manager is to lead the operational and clinical delivery of the service. The Closer2Home Team is a Children and Young Persons Mental Health Intensive Home Treatment service that supports young people and families in the community as an alternative to an inpatient admission. Working with a wide range of HIoWH business and clinical colleagues, as well as community-based health and social care partners, the role will ensure the effective implementation of the NHSE Service Strategy and the Divisional Business Plan in order to improve the young people and carer/family experience, improve outcomes for young people, and to provide services which are value for money.
Main duties of the job- Responsibility for the effective leadership and management of the team to ensure service delivery is directed and aligned with contractual obligations and the Trust's vision and values
- Responsible for the effective use of resources supporting the Division to deliver within the allocated budget
- Support delivery of the Trust safeguarding strategy and lead the delivery of safe and effective services
- Delivering a service aligned to the Clinical Strategy (Model of Care) developing a culture within the team which supports the quality-of-service delivery to be safe, caring, effective, responsive, and well-led
- Management of resources, specifically workforce deployment and finance, together with delivery of internal and external Key Performance Indicators and cost-efficiency savings
- Work with the Head of Clinical Services to ensure the delivery of the Divisional Business Plan
- To ensure effective clinical governance.
- Work collaboratively with Professional Leads to provide cohesive strategic leadership within the team
- Ensure effective management and compliance with all essential, mandatory and statutory training
- Monitor and manage standards of performance, conduct, and behaviour, and levels of staff absenteeism.
