Job Summary
Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist ready for a leadership role? We're seeking a motivated OT Team Lead to join our inpatient rehabilitation service. This key role focuses on delivering high-quality, personalised rehabilitation and supporting patients to achieve their goals and return home safely. You'll provide clinical and operational leadership to the OT team, fostering a supportive environment and working closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, goal-focused care. You'll champion therapy-led, person-centred approaches and contribute to service development and quality improvement. Working in partnership with a physiotherapy team lead, you'll share leadership responsibilities, including cross-cover when needed, ensuring continuity for patients and staff. You'll also collaborate across wards and services, supporting patient flow, early intervention, and integrated care between inpatient and community settings. You'll join a strong network of OT and AHP leaders with a focus on collaboration, shared learning, and innovation. We're looking for someone passionate about rehabilitation, confident in leadership, and committed to patient-centred care. Whether you're an experienced Band 7 or a Band 6 ready to step up, you'll be supported to grow and make a real impact. At present, the Trust is unable to offer Skilled Worker visa sponsorship for this post. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application.

To provide professional and operational support relating to the provision and development of the therapy team. Also supporting colleagues in the provision of Therapy Services across Portsmouth South East Hampshire Division. To take responsibility for the operational management of their team including recruitment and selection, appraisal, CPD and disciplinary procedures. Working to ensure effective operational performance within appropriate budgetary constraints.
