Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Therapy Services Department at Harrogate and Ripon Community Hospital for an MSK Specialist Physiotherapist.

You will be involved in the assessment and management of a varied MSK caseload from Primary and Secondary referrals.

Main duties of the job
Successful applicant will be working within the MSK and Rheumatology teams.

• They will assess diagnose and treat complex patients.
• They will work autonomously and as part of a physiotherapy and wider health professional team.
• Involved in the education and mentoring of qualified staff and students.

They will also

• You will be working as part of the MSK team fulfilling the band 6 caseload.
• In service training, and CPD actively encouraged.
• Assessment and management of MSK patients.

Person Specification
Essential qualifications

• Registered with HCPC
• BSc Physiotherapy or equivalent
• Professional development diary
• Valid UK driving licence

Desirable qualifications

• Evidence of relevant Post Graduate Qualifications / Modules

Essential experience

• Minimum Post graduate 1 year of Musculoskeletal experience
• Previous student/staff development
• Previous NHS experience

Desirable experience

• Previous NHS MSK experience
• MSc qualifications or working towards
• Evidence of diagnostic skills to manage and assess MSK conditions
