We are seeking an experienced and dedicated nursing home manager to lead our team and oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. The successful candidate must be a qualified nurse with current NMC registration and experience working and have proven experience in complex care, rehabilitation and nursing management. We are looking for a compassionate and confident leader who can support our residents to achieve the best possible outcomes while ensuring excellent standards of care, safeguarding and clinical practice.

About Hafod Y Green
Hafod Y Green Nursing Home is a specialist nursing and rehabilitation centre situated in Trefnant, near Denbigh in North Wales. The home provides nursing and complex care support with 34 registered places for adults.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall running of the home, ensuring high standards across care, operations and financial management.
• Ensure the service meets, and indeed exceeds the requirements of Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW).
• Promote the delivery of safe, personalised services to each individual service user through assessment, person centred planning and regular outcome focused reviews of services.
• Manage the staff team both involved in the management and direct provision of the service.
• Ensure that there is a co-ordinated and consistent approach to service provision that is cost effective and efficient making the best use of allocated resources.
• Implement and continue to maintain an effective quality assurance programme to promote high quality, best practice and continuous improvement of services.

What we need from you:

• Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC pin is essential
• Previous experience as a registered manager within Wales with a strong knowledge of Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) requirements.
• Experience working with adults with complex care needs.
• Proven ability to confidently lead a team.
• Compassionate and caring with a commitment to resident's wellbeing and development.
• Excellent communicator with staff, residents, families and professionals.
• Organised and reliable being able to manage competing priorities whilst maintaining high standards.
• Good IT skills with the ability to confidently use electronic care records, Microsoft Office and other relevant digital systems.
