Role: Clinical Specialist Radiographer - MRI
Location: London Bridge Hospital Campus, including London Bridge Hospital, Canary Wharf, St Paul's, The Shard and 31 Broad Street
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Open 0800-2000, Monday-Friday, rotational shifts, either long and/or short days
Contract Type: Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Specialist MRI Radiographer to join our Imaging team across the London Bridge Hospital campus, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC.

This is a rotational role across London Bridge Hospital, Canary Wharf, The Shard Outpatients, 31 Broad Street and St Paul's (upon opening), offering the opportunity to work within one of the UK's leading private imaging services. Our MRI department operates nine Siemens MRI scanners across 1.5T and 3T platforms, delivering a comprehensive range of examinations including Neuro, MSK, Abdomen and Cardiac imaging.

As a Clinical Specialist Radiographer, you will play a key role within MRI services, delivering exceptional patient-centred care and high-quality diagnostic imaging across both inpatient and outpatient pathways. Working collaboratively with Radiologists, Consultants and multidisciplinary teams, you will utilise your advanced clinical expertise to support complex examinations, optimise imaging quality and contribute to the ongoing development of imaging protocols and patient pathways.

Acting as a clinical expert within the department, you will support service development, quality improvement initiatives, education and mentorship of colleagues, helping to drive excellence in patient care and imaging practice. You will also contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the service, ensuring high standards of safety, governance and patient experience are consistently maintained. You will perform a broad range of specialist MRI examinations, undertake IV cannulation, manage and prioritise workloads, and support the implementation of new techniques and technological advancements.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly experienced multidisciplinary team, with continued professional development and exposure to leading-edge imaging technologies. Cardiac MRI experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training can be provided. This role presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced MRI Radiographer looking to further develop their specialist expertise within a world-class imaging service.

What You'll Bring

• HCPC registration
• Degree in Radiography or equivalent recognised qualification
• Extensive post-registration MRI experience within either an NHS or private healthcare setting
• Experience working with Siemens MRI scanners (desirable)
• Competency in IV cannulation
• Strong understanding of MRI safety, governance and quality standards
