Job SummaryAt Hereford Medical Group, we are seeking GPs to join our Extended Access Team, providing evening clinics from 18:30 to 20:00, Monday to Friday. This is a fixed-term position running until 31st March 2027. We can offer some flexibility in shift arrangements; however, applicants should be able to commit to a regular working pattern. You will work as part of a small, supportive team delivering services from our purpose built site, with support and guidance from a dedicated service lead.
This role must not be advertised or represented by third parties without written authorisation.Main Duties of the JobWe are seeking a GP to deliver high quality clinical care within a busy primary care environment, managing a diverse caseload through face to face and telephone consultations. The role includes clinical assessment, prescribing, care planning and making appropriate referrals to ensure patients receive safe, effective and patient centred care. You will be responsible for reviewing and issuing prescriptions, maintaining accurate and contemporaneous clinical records, and working in line with all practice policies, professional standards and regulatory requirements. The postholder will also contribute to clinical audits, support the development of clinical standards and help promote continuous service improvement. The successful candidate will be expected to uphold best practice in infection prevention and control, safeguarding, confidentiality, and health and safety, while demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development and effective multidisciplinary teamwork. This role would suit a proactive and clinically confident GP who is committed to delivering high quality care within a supportive practice environment
