Job summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency & Urgent Care Team in Withybush General Hospital.

The Department is able to provide dynamic intervention for the critically ill or injured patient. The EUCC Team is strongly centred on teamwork and patient care and the staff are proud to work in a diverse and friendly supportive environment.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate would be required to hold an NMC Registration and provide evidence of professional development, with a desire to work in the Emergency & Urgent Care Unit.

Ideally, the candidate will have experience of working within an Acute Care Setting, however, full support and training would be given to any candidate who is motivated to join our team.

Withybush General Hospital is situated in the town of Haverfordwest.

Pembrokeshire is one of the most beautiful and contrasting counties in the UK which boasts a wide range of traditional villages and seaside towns with busy cities within driving & rail distance. Hywel Dda University Health Board plans and provides NHS healthcare services for people living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and bordering counties.

Qualifications and Knowledge
Essential

• Current NMC Registration

Desirable

• Degree in Nursing
• Evidence of post registration study and training eg POVA
• Evidence of post registration study and training eg Child Protection
• Intermediate Life Support if required in clinical setting

Experience
Essential

• Pre registration evidence in direct nursing care
• Experience of providing holistic nursing care
• Interest in developing nursing skills

Desirable

• Clear understanding of clinical governance framework
• Implement evidence based practice

Language Skills

• Welsh Speaker (Level 1)
