Key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to or leading the development of medical review plans, guidelines, and tools for complex studies or programmes.
  • Providing medical input into database lock readiness, interim analyses, and regulatory submission preparation.
  • Collaborating with pharmacovigilance, biostatistics, and data management to support integrated safety and efficacy evaluations.
  • Mentoring junior medical data reviewers and supporting continuous improvement of review methodologies.

Your Profile
You will have a strong foundation in clinical research, with the experience to work independently and guide others.

Required qualifications and experience:
  • Medical degree or advanced clinical qualification (e.g., MD, MBBS, PharmD) with relevant clinical experience.
  • Extensive experience in clinical research, medical monitoring, pharmacovigilance, or related roles within CRO, pharma, or biotech.
  • Deep understanding of clinical trial design, GCP, safety reporting, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills, with a high level of attention to detail in data review.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional, global teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple studies and priorities while maintaining high quality and timelines.

Employment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
