We’re looking for a passionate and skilled
Bank Mammographer to join our friendly Breast Screening team at the Jarvis Centre in Guildford. This flexible role gives you the freedom to pick up shifts that fit your lifestyle 🌟, whether that’s at our main site or on one of our five mobile screening units 🚐 across Surrey & North East Hampshire.
As part of the National Breast Screening Programme, you’ll play a vital role in delivering life-saving services 💕 to women in our community. You’ll be working alongside a dedicated multi-disciplinary team 👩⚕️👨⚕️ – all united by a shared goal: providing the highest standards of care.
🌟 What You’ll Be Doing- 📷 Carrying out high-quality mammograms to help detect breast cancer early.
- 🤝 Supporting patients with compassion, reassurance, and professionalism.
- 🧪 Assisting in assessment clinics, including additional views and stereotactic biopsies.
- 🎓 Mentoring and guiding Assistant Practitioners to help them grow in their careers.
- ✅ Taking part in our Quality Assurance Programme and keeping up-to-date with best practice.
- 🚐 Joining the rota to cover both the Jarvis Centre and mobile screening sites.
🧩 What We’re Looking For- 🎓 BSc in Radiography + PG Cert in Mammography.
- 🪪 HCPC registration.
