Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated The Technical Specialist (TS) to support the London South region within our Electrophysiology (EP) business.

The Technical Specialist (TS) is an established and productive field-based individual contributor responsible for driving clinical excellence and supporting the adoption of Johnson & Johnson MedTech Electrophysiology technologies, including the CARTO™ 3 Mapping System, ablation catheters, and associated EP solutions.
Working under moderate supervision, the Technical Specialist partners closely with physicians, electrophysiology lab staff, and commercial colleagues to deliver best-in-class clinical support, customer education, and procedural expertise. The role plays a critical part in helping customers improve patient outcomes while supporting the organisation's overall technical, clinical, and commercial strategy.
The Technical Specialist applies practical electrophysiology and product knowledge to implement customer-focused initiatives, accelerate technology adoption, and contribute to sustainable business growth within the assigned territory.
This role is eligible for sales incentives and commission programmes.

Duties & Responsibilities
Clinical & Technical Support

• Provide expert clinical and technical support during electrophysiology procedures using the CARTO™ Mapping System and associated technologies.
• Support mapping, navigation, and ablation procedures across a broad range of arrhythmias, including AF, SVT, AT, VT, and emerging technologies.
• Deliver high-quality procedural support to ensure customer confidence, patient safety, and optimal clinical outcomes.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to physicians, nurses, physiologists, and EP laboratory teams.

Technology Adoption & Business Growth

• Help establish and implement programmes and initiatives that drive adoption of CARTO™ technologies and support regional business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to increase utilisation of Johnson & Johnson technologies through customer education, procedural efficiencies, and clinical value creation.
• Contribute to account planning by providing technical expertise, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and procedural feedback.
• Support new product launches and market development initiatives to accelerate penetration of innovative technologies.

Education & Training

• Deliver product training, in-services, workshops, and educational programmes for healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a strong understanding of electrophysiology fundamentals, clinical evidence, industry trends, and competitive technologies.
• Communicate product updates, clinical data, launch information, and best practices to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor less experienced colleagues on EP workflows, procedural support, and product knowledge.

Territory & Account Management

• Document and maintain customer account information and sales-related activities within company systems.
• Support reporting and analysis to monitor account activity, customer engagement, and technology adoption.
• Collaborate closely with Sales Specialists, Regional Sales Managers, Clinical Leaders, and cross-functional partners to achieve business objectives.
• Manage territory coverage effectively while maintaining a high level of customer-facing activity.
