We have an exciting opportunity for a Dispenser or Trainee Dispenser to join our friendly and supportive dispensing team.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to work between 30 and 37.5 hours per week. We can offer either a four-day (30 hour) or full-time working pattern.
30 hours as follows: 09:00 - 18:30 Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays; 14:00 - 18:30 Wednesdays.

The post holder will be based primarily in the Marlborough surgery, covering Pewsey surgery as and when required.
Main duties of the jobThe post-holder will join the Dispensing team to deliver the following:
- Manage repeat medication requests safely and efficiently.
- Respond to patient queries relating to prescriptions and medicines.
- Dispense and check medications in accordance with practice procedures.
- Support effective stock management and medicines governance processes.
- Undertake daily prescription and cash handling checks, maintaining accurate records.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and information security at all times.
- Contribute positively to the KAMP mission, values and strategic objectives.

Job responsibilitiesWe are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Dispenser or Trainee Dispenser to join our friendly dispensing team. Experience in a dispensing environment is desirable; however, comprehensive training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
This varied role combines patient interaction, dispensing duties, stock management and medicines governance. You will play an important role in ensuring patients receive safe, accurate and timely access to their medication while working closely with clinicians and colleagues across the practice.
The successful candidate will be organised, detail-focused and committed to providing excellent patient care.
Person SpecificationExperienceEssential- The successful candidate will be able to describe experience of being respectful to colleagues and customers alike, as well as being empathetic, patient and an active listener.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritise are essential.
Desirable- Experience in a customer or patient-facing role would be an advantage.
QualificationsEssential- Good standard of general education, including GCSE Mathematics grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) and GCSE English grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
Desirable- NVQ2 Pharmacy Service Skills qualification
- ECDL / CLAIT qualification
