Job summaryAre you passionate about helping healthcare staff develop the essential hands-on skills they need to stay safe and effective in their roles? We are seeking a motivated, dynamic, and organised Mandatory Skills Trainer to join our established Mandatory Training Team Preston. In this role, you will deliver, and evaluate core training programmes, ensuring our workforce remains fully compliant with national healthcare safety standards.
Main duties of the job- To provide a range of Mandatory Training subjects to ensure patient, client and staff safety to meet Healthcare and Risk management standards such as Moving & Handling, Basic Life Support and Conflict Resolution.
- To support the embedding of the Mandatory Training Policy
- To work in collaboration with Mandatory Training team in providing agreed programme of activity
- To support the subject Matter experts in the development, delivery and evaluation of Mandatory Training.
- To provide a range of Moving & Handling, Resuscitation, Physical Health and Job Mandated training to ensure patient, client and staff safety to meet Healthcare and Risk management standards.

Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- Recognised Teaching Qualification
KnowledgeEssential- Competent working knowledge of current Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines (adult)
- Specific knowledge of current moving & handling techniques and training delivery, including the use of hoists and slings.
- Awareness of the UK Core Skills Training Framework
PersonalEssential- Experience of practical resuscitation in an NHS setting
- Experience of teaching in a classroom setting or equivalent
- Evidence of developing programmes/ or training packages
