Main duties of the jobWe are looking for a scrub practitioner who has a passion for providing high quality patient focused surgical care who has a flexible attitude towards work and a desire for new challenges. As a trust we are committed to the development of future healthcare professionals and theatres is pivotal to these trainees. As a qualified practitioner you would be expected to contribute to their development and support.

Person SpecificationQualifications & EducationEssential- Appropriate NMC/HCPC Registration
- RN1, RN2 General Nursing Posts/ODP
- Evidence of continuing education or development for more experienced Band 5 nurses
Desirable- Degree
- NMC recognised Mentorship qualification
- Scrub Course
- Diploma in Nursing
Knowledge & ExperienceEssential- Awareness of changes within Nursing practice
- Knowledge of Clinical Governance and the relevance to practice
