6 Month Maternity Cover Contract

We are seeking an exceptional candidate for a Fixed Term salaried GP position (6 sessions).

The standard working pattern is proposed to be Wednesday to Friday .

You will join Laurel Bank Surgery at a very exciting time as we have just merged with the Village Surgeries Group on 1st April.

Our workforce will comprise 4 GP Partners, 1 Managing Partner, 10 Salaried GPs, 2 ANPs, 6 Nurses, 1 Clinical Pharmacist, 1 Pharmacy Technician, 5 HCAs, and whole management and administration team, including dispensers. In total, we'll have 75 employees.

We are looking for a salaried GP who is excited and motivated by our ambitions to develop new models of care, as leaders in our integrated neighbourhood. We are proud of our continuity of care, and GPs manage their own list of patients.

This role will will be required to work across all 3 practice sites (Malpas, Tattenhall and Farndon).

Main duties of the job
Main Purpose of the Role

• To assist with an interesting clinical caseload of an established list of patients.
• Deal with a wide range of health needs, maintaining our quality standards.
• To work with the the Partners and Staff to continue to develop the practice in response to the ever changing face of primary care, maintaining high standards and traditional practice
• To work for 6 clinical sessions (proposed Monday to Wednesday), core hours are 8am to 6.30pm
• Take a fair share of home visits when in Surgery (we don't have many).
• To participate in the On Call rota on a shared basis.

We work from purpose-built premises, and the Malpas site has been through significant extension and refurbishment in 2023.
