Job summary
Important note for - candidates unfortunately we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Are you looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to develop and progress in your career?

We are seeking a motivated and confident Adult Staff Nurse or Adult Student Nurse due to qualify in the next three months, to bring their expertise to work on Ward 1 at Coalville Community Hospital.

The ward is nurse led which will give you high levels of autonomy and satisfaction in delivering exceptional care to patients with sub-acute needs, supporting rehabilitation, undertaking complex discharge planning and increasing patient independence and quality of life.

Our patient cohort is increasingly complex due to the need to facilitate transfer from acute trusts as soon as individuals are medically fit for discharge and to prevent admission from home to the secondary care sector.

The role will require working long days / nights Monday - Sunday.

If you aim to deliver high quality and compassionate care in your practice then this is the right job for you.

Free parking is available on site.

The local bus network system has a stop close to the hospital.

We provide a range of training and development opportunities for nurses who wish to progress in their careers.

Main duties of the job
  • Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care in a nurse led environment.
  • Assisting with and contributing to the management and organisation of the ward.
  • Delivery of high-quality care.
  • Participating in education, development and supervision of other staff members and students.
  • Working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
