An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland as a Band 5 Mental Health Practitioner (Registered Mental Health Nurse). Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will provide evidence-based mental health support to children, young people and families in schools and community settings.

The role includes undertaking mental health assessments, delivering interventions, supporting triage and duty functions, reviewing referrals, managing risk, responding to safeguarding concerns, and ensuring children and young people receive appropriate support. You will work collaboratively with schools, families, community services and partner agencies, contributing to service development and the delivery of safe, effective care.
